Tour Permits

Before you take your scouts out to any outing have the following sign your tour permit:

Tour permits are required by the BSA for all travel other than your normal monthly or weekly meeting place.

 

Tour permits can be signed at each monthly District Roundtable.  This is held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at First United Methodist Church in Whittier.

Skyline Trail Hike

Fall Camp-O-Ree:

Esten Grubb Memorial Camp-O-Ree. Theme: "Astronomy", as Esten would have it. Watch this spot for information. Fall Camp-O-Ree will be held on October 15 -17, 2010 at Santa Fe Dam, Irwindale. Get with a Astronomy Merit Badge Counselor as some of the activities may help in completing this Merit Badge. Cubs, check out the requirements for the Astronomy Belt Loop and Pin.


Cub Scout Day Camp

Day Camp was a great success this year while celebrating 100 years in Scouting and Rio Hondo received a perfect camp score. Thanks to all the adult volunteers, Den Chiefs and the Key 6 Staff who made this happen. See you next year!

What To Bring:
comfortable chair, hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and writing implements for note taking, Uniforms required.

Scout must attend all day for credit.  Class A Uniform required.  14 years of age or 1st class rank required.  Skills learned at Dan Chief Training Course can be practiced by the Boy Scouts at:  Rio Hondo Cub Scout Day Camp or at your local Cub Scout Pack

 


Popcorn Sales

Could your unit use over $2,700?  That is what one or our local units raised for their pack in just two months!!
