Below is the 2011-12 Rio Hondo training schedule  for  Rio Hondo Cub, Scout, Venture and Other Training (Scouters, Parents, Leaders, etc.).  You don't need to be a uniformed volunteer to attend training.  In fact all are invited to leadership training.  Anyone who interacts with scouters should consider training.  Training will make your scouting job easier.  Also, take advantage of the experience provided by our trainers who have been in scouting for many years.  Learn from the best and have fun!

What To Bring:
comfortable chair, hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and writing implements for note taking, Uniforms required.

We are in need of dedicated and committed Boy Scouts who are willing to assist and “give back to the Pack” and especially help at our annual Day Camps.

Your responsibility: Assist the Den Leaders in putting on a great program, taking role, Pre-Meeting Gathering games, and other responsibilities.

Advantages: You will be able to earn your community hours, and enhance your leadership abilities. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, YOU will be the role model to the Cub Scouts who are looking for a Troop to bridge into. You also will receive a Trained Badge to wear on your uniform and a Certificate of Completion to begin your road to receive Den Chief Award.
